The Wiggles

Watching "The Wiggles," of course! (on our way to Gainesville)

A couple months ago, we bought tickets to see The Wiggles in Gainesville (about a 1 1/2 hour drive from our house) for the Wednesday following her accident. We were disappointed to think that we might not be able to go due to the length of time Lila would have to sit in her carseat and in an uncomfortable theatre-style seat during the show. I saw that they offered handicapped seating and thought that we could possibly make it work (and lift everyone's spirits) if we could use a stroller or wagon to get her in the arena. I talked to Ticketmaster the day before the show and, surprisingly, they exchanged our tickets for handicapped ones! We were so excited! We just knew how much Lila would enjoy herself.

We headed down to Gainesville and ate dinner with Patrick (Uncle Pat-Pat). We only saw Robert for a few minutes because he was studying (booooo!). Lila had a great ride down and was so happy to see her uncles!

We pulled right up to the O'Connell Center and parked in the very front handicapped spot (Thanks, Grandmother for the pass!), walked right in the door, and sat down in our AMAZING seats! Lila had such a great time! She even got to say hi to Murray (the red one!)

Getting ready for the show! As soon as we walked in, she said, "Ooh, Wiggles! I see dem!"

First popcorn experience! She loved it!

For all you Wiggles fans - this was "Rock Abye Your Bear" - "shh, shh, shh!"

What a great night that Andrew and I will remember forever (Lila has probably forgotten it by now)!
