Playing Outside

Lila's new favorite thing to do when Andrew or I get home from work each day is to go to the "frayground" (of course, playground!). Each afternoon, she alternates "frayground" and "strowride" (see a previous post). We never know what we'll end up doing with her when we get home. It's adorable! At the end of a long day, we crave spending every second with her, so we pretty much do whatever is needed to make her happy (I'm sure we'll be paying for it during the terrible two's)!

She is so good at the slide - she climbs up the stairs and slides right down. We've also noticed that she says, "Lila turn." We think she might've learned that from school. When other neighborhood kids are sliding, she is patient and waits her turn. Then says, "Lila turn." It's pretty precious! We wish all the kids in the neighborhood were as patient as she is because Andrew and I have been known to get pretty snippy when our little, patient one gets trampled by big kids!
