I decided to chance it and pull down my fancy nativity scene and make this big production with it in front of Lila. I told her how special it was and how we had to be very careful with it, hoping that she would show her gentle side whenever she was around the nativity scene. I was surprised to see the great care she showed with each figure. It was precious! We talked about baby Jesus and named others, too (although the wisemen in my nativity scene have some strange names!)
