Happy Birthday, Lila!

"Are you sure I can eat this? Mommy never lets me eat sugar!"

"It's way more fun to play with it!"

Lila was not too interested in her birthday cake. Maybe it's because her mommy has never let sugar touch her lips! She did enjoy (delicately) smashing her cake!

We celebrated Lila's first birthday with our family at our house. There were about 20 of us. We were all having a great time when we realized how hot it was getting in the house! It turns out our air conditioner broke during the party - great! Lila enjoyed herself, but everyone else was sweaty and sticky (thank you, Humid Florida!). We opened the back doors to get a breeze when it started pouring! So much for entertaining outside!

Lila opened her presents (with the help of her cousins). She got a lot of wonderful things! What does a mom do with all these toys??? (Let me know of any tricks you have come up with!)
