Andrew, Lila, and I packed up the car and headed to my parents' mountain house in Tennessee this past weekend. Our college friends, Matt, Ashley, and Maggie (13 months) and John Eric and Courtney (with little baby "Tony" aka "Freedom" in her belly) met us up there and stayed with us. We had such a great time with them. We ate at very slow (but yummy) restaurants, rode rides, did go-carts, and played games (throwing figs at plastic cups from the deck). There's never a dull moment when you get Matt, John Eric, and Andrew together!
We headed to the Apple Barn for lunch on Saturday. While we waited for our table, we walked around outside among all the apple trees. Of course, Lila would pick up the one apple that fell off the tree. It probably wasn't the most sanitary apple in the world, but I'm sure she has put nastier things in her mouth!

We had such a great time with our friends. Once John Eric and Courtney's baby comes into the world, we'll have to start planning another get together.
